‘TITAN MUSIC FESTIVAL’

On Saturday the 11th June, despite the torrential rain, ‘The Titan Children’s Trust’ hosted our first ever ‘Titan Music Festival’, which featured seven different acts, including a twenty-piece choir and our very own Elvis. The weather never put a damper on spirits with the several marquees set up doing an excellent job of keeping everyone dry.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the acts who donated their time to perform for our guests for free. We would also like to say a huge thank you to ‘Okra Friargate’ for suppling the festival with food free-of-charge and ‘Marston’s’ brewery for supplying us with a fully functioning bar, all the equipment and 3 barrels of ‘Kaltenberg’ and ‘Pedigree’. The former going down a treat, selling out after just a few hours. Again, a massive thank you to another one of our sponsors, ‘Carlsberg’ for also supplying a barrel of their world-famous larger.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all those volunteers that donated their time over the few days prior to the festival and during the event itself. Without these volunteers helping complete behind-the-scenes jobs, including, putting up the stage, the marquees, and all the necessary amenities which go into making an event run smoothly and safely, we would not be able to make events like this happen.

It was safe to say the first ever ‘Titan Music Festival’ was a huge success as we raised just under £5000, all of which is going to provide underprivileged children with access to sport, recreation and support. Thank you again to our guests that came and made it all happen.
