The Titan Children’s Trust were able to donate £1,800 to Herbert Strutt Primary School to help their funds for Forest Schools.
Children from Year 2 go to Shining Cliff Woods where Wild Things teach 6/7 youngsters at a time all about the benefit of the great outdoors.
The children experience rope swings, make dens, decorate sticks, play hide and seek, jump in puddles, make toast and roast apples round a camp fire, make popcorn and hot chocolate and generally have a fabulous time in the woods.
